History
A trading division of Critical Resource Ltd., Wastefile UK was founded in 1994 to provide a unique service to the building, construction and refurbishment sectors. Our rapid growth has since expanded our services successfully into industrial and retail markets.
The original "one-stop-shop approach" quickly became the largest area of Critical Resources business providing skips 24 hours a day 7 days a week to a large number of clients with multiple sites across the UK.
Since 1994, Wastefile UK has grown to become the UK's leading single source skip provider, but the brand has come to mean much more than nationwide skip hire. Although still forming an important and integral part of our business, as Wastefile UK has grown, the original concept has developed to include all areas of waste management. In 2006, Wastefile UK was acquired by Reconomy Holdings Ltd. This move will help us grow to the next level, building a larger company to take advantage of the growing opportunities in the waste management and recycling marketplace.
The company now has over 100 staff offering a number of different disciplines.
We've developed a large and loyal customer base through our reputation for quality, reliability and achievement. Our continual successes have enabled us to build and grow important relationships with external providers and suppliers.
