WASTEFILE UK > About us >
ISO 14001 certification
We continually aim to improve our environmental performance, striving to limit and where possible reduce the overall impact on the environment. Our strategies ensure our customers meet full legislative and Corporate Social Responsibility compliance.
The high quality of our service has been formally recognised through the certification of our Environmental Management System to the international standard ISO 14001:2004.
ISO 14001 is an international standard in the ISO 14000 series, which provides a specification for a complete and effective Environmental System.
At Wastefile UK, we are dedicated to providing and contributing to a cleaner, safer and healthier environment. As a result of this, Wastefile UK implemented a comprehensive Environmental Management System, which was initially completed in 2003 with certification to ISO 14001.
At the end of 2004, the ISO 14001 standard was revised, and an updated standard, the ISO 14001:2004, was issued.
Following an external audit from the UKAS accredited ISOQAR, our Environmental Management System was confirmed to be inline with the new standard, completing the sucessful transition to 14001:2004. Our excellent provision for Duty of Care and highly effective management of service provision were both commended.
We take a dedicated approach to minimising risk across all aspects of our work, we have a comprehensive health and safety policy and risk assessment procedure in place.
