Our highly experienced staff cover a range of service and technical disciplines. We aim not
simply to provide a service, but to help our customers find and understand which service is right for them.

Initial induction

Our customer care staff are initially selected for their communication skills, their ability to listen, understand requirements and respond with the best possible solution, even if it means extra time and effort. Before new personnel can handle any enquiry they are required to undertake extensive training in our dedicated training room, designed to give them a thorough grounding in our procedures, IT system, telephone responsiveness etc, to maintain Wastefile UK's unique style of service.

Continued professional development

To build upon this unique resource we have introduced a structured training programme in which all Wastefile UK staff are invited to take part. So far 50% of our workforce are participating in some form of official workplace training schemes, such as business administration or customer care, successful completion of which leads to a National Vocational Qualification.

These courses benefit individual members of staff who gain career qualifications, but also form part of our long-term strategy, honing staff skills to better serve our customers. This strategy of excellence in our workplace is a commitment to staff and clients alike.

Investors in people

As a company, Wastefile UK are working towards the Investors in People Award, and we have to meet challenging criteria in communication processes, staff development, training processes, HR and recruitment policies and empowerment of staff within departments.

We anticipate completion of IIP within 12 months and gaining the Award will bring to Wastefile UK and its staff official recognition measured against national standards, of the commitment, competitive edge and customer service excellence that we have always maintained in our day to day operations.

To our clients, that means the same high quality of response whether in administering a full waste management system... or simply quoting for a skip.
