Barratt South Wales ISO 14001 Success
Wastefile UK have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Barratt South Wales, working in unison with the Group as their National Waste Manager.
When the Group recently looked to achieve ISO 14001, Wastefile UK's assistance proved invaluable, and as a result three of the regions sites were awarded this prestigious certification.
Waste management is a transforming industry, with legislation and compliance changing on an almost monthly basis. A large part of achieving ISO 14001 is dependant on having a managed and transparent waste removal system.
Wastefile UK's clear advantage proves to be our continual investment in the ongoing development of our bespoke IT systems, allowing us to actively manage, monitor and track the movement of any waste type. Our ability to offer the full auditability and tracking of waste, provided an invaluable source of data for the implementation of ISO 14001 on the regions sites.
The regions designated account manager David Street worked closely and relentlessly with the Group in order to meet the stringent requirements of the award. This dedication and attention to detail paid off when all of the three sites 'passed with flying colours'.
The ISO 14001 success however was not soley limited to the sites of Barratt South Wales, KingsOak Southampton, a division of Barratt Homes, have also recently been awarded the prestigious certification. Ian Sneddon, Technical Director of KingsOak Southampton has expressed his thanks to Wastefile UK for the support in the achievement of this certification.
Wastefile UK continue to work in unison with the Barratt Group and would like to offer them a well deserved 'Congratulations' on their active and successful contribution to the protection of the environment.
