Wastefile UK achieves ISO 14001:2004 upgrade

ISO 14001 is an international standard in the ISO 14000 series, which provides a specification for a complete and effective Environmental System.

At Wastefile UK, we are dedicated to providing and contributing to a cleaner, safer and healthier environment. As a result of this, Wastefile UK implemented a comprehensive Environmental Management System, which was initially completed in 2003 with certification to ISO 14001.

At the end of 2004, the ISO 14001 standard was revised, and an updated standard, the ISO 14001:2004, was issued.

Following an external audit from the UKAS accredited ISOQAR, our Environmental Management System was confirmed to be inline with the new standard, completing the sucessful transition to 14001:2004.  Our excellent provision for Duty of Care and highly effective management of service provision were both commended.

Here at Wastefile UK we continually aim to improve our environmental performance, striving to limit, and where possible, reduce our overall impact on the environment. Our ISO 14001 accreditation demonstrates a high level of commitment from the Wastefile UK Board of Directors towards the overall explicit aim of continuous environmental improvement.
