Wastefile UK named best performer at Taylor Woodrow Supplier Awards

Wastefile UK has recently won a prestigious award from international housing and development company Taylor Woodrow.

Our company has been named as 'Best Performer' in the Supplier/Merchant category of the Taylor Woodrow Supplier Awards 2005.

The inaugural awards, which were introduced by Taylor Woodrow to encourage its supply partners to join its drive to improve the process and standard of homes and buildings, took place on 10 February 2005 at the De Vere Belfry near Birmingham. Wastefile UK beat off strong competition from Advante Ltd and Protec International to be successful in the highly contested category.

Commenting on the award, Chris Martin, Wastefile UK's Sales Director said:

"We are thrilled with this recognition from Taylor Woodrow. Our relationship has been built on the ability to meet their requirements on a truly national scale. We meet their ever increasing demands for managing waste and are also able to deliver cost reduction and environmental compliance to help them meet their corporate and social responsibilities."

Wastefile UK, have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with Taylor Woodrow. In 2002, the property developers took the decision to select a waste manager to manage their requirements nationally. After a tender process that initially considered a number of companies, Wastefile UK's impressive credentials with a number of major house builders led to them being selected.

In March 2004 after extensive research and negotiations, Taylor Woodrow and Wastefile UK entered into a three year trading contract to maintain and improve the development of how waste is minimised, segregated, recycled and disposed of from all Taylor Woodrow Developments' sites.

Chris Martin of Wastefile UK added: "This award demonstrates that if a client/supplier relationship can be set up with honesty and clear objectives in which both parties are tasked to achieve, it will result in the benefit of a successful trading arrangement that impacts on the progression and development of both companies."
